WHAT IS THE PONTOZÓ?

It is a folk dance and music gathering in North America where folk dance and music ensembles have an opportunity to come together as a community. The weekend also includes social events for dancers, and their families/friends.

50th Anniversary of Pontozó in North America

JTD will be performing a hungarian set from the Gömör region, performed by six of our Senior Group students at this festival. The choreography was created and taught to them by Hajnalka Guti and Lajos Hunor Izsó.
